🌿Our Products
Most hair oils labeled 'natural' are simply a mix of carrier oils with fragrance added. WholEmollient® oils are true herbal infusions — real botanicals like rosemary, amla, chebe, qasil, and fenugreek are steeped in organic cold-pressed oils for 30 days. The herbs stay in the bottle because we never filter them out. What you see is what works.
Yes. Every WholEmollient® product is formulated without synthetic fragrance, silicones, mineral oil, petroleum, parabens, or sulfates. Every ingredient is listed on the label. Nothing hidden, nothing to guess at.
The Rosemary Herbal Hair Oil is built around scalp health and growth support — rosemary, amla, neem, and fenugreek in a lightweight base ideal for low porosity and fine textured hair. The Qasil & Chebe Hair Growth Oil focuses on length retention and moisture sealing — chebe powder locks in moisture, qasil balances the scalp, and batana oil restores shine. If your main concern is breakage and length, choose Qasil & Chebe. If it is scalp health and growth, choose Rosemary.
Instead of adding herbal extracts after the fact, we steep whole dried botanicals directly in the carrier oils for 30 days at low temperature. This slow process allows the full spectrum of nutrients, antioxidants, and active compounds from each herb to transfer into the oil — producing a far more potent and effective formula than standard mixing methods.
No synthetic fragrance of any kind. The mild natural scent of our oils comes entirely from the herbs and organic oils in the formula. If you are sensitive to fragrance or have been told to avoid it, our products are safe for you.
💧Hair Type & Usage
Yes — both oils are formulated specifically with 4C and coily hair in mind. The oils in our formula (castor, avocado, jojoba, hemp seed) are well matched to the needs of tightly coiled hair: sealing moisture, reducing breakage, and supporting scalp health. We do not make a one-size-fits-all formula and call it 'for all hair types.' These are built for textured hair.
Yes. The Rosemary Herbal Hair Oil uses lightweight oils including jojoba, argan, marula, and MCT that absorb without sitting on the strand or causing buildup — which is the main challenge with low porosity hair. Apply to damp hair to improve absorption. Avoid applying to dry hair in large amounts.
Apply to damp hair immediately after washing to seal in moisture. For scalp application, use your fingertips to massage a few drops directly onto the scalp. Use 2 to 3 times per week consistently. Less is more — start with a small amount and add more as needed. Herbal oils are treatments, not styling products, so results build over several weeks of consistent use.
Yes. Apply directly to your scalp and edges before installing braids, twists, locs, or any protective style. This is one of the best ways to use the oil — your scalp continues to receive nourishment while your hair is protected.
Yes. Many customers use the Rosemary Oil on their scalp for growth support and the Qasil & Chebe Oil on their lengths and ends for moisture retention and breakage prevention. They complement each other well and contain no conflicting ingredients.
Herbal oils work cumulatively, not overnight. Most customers notice softer, stronger hair within 2 to 4 weeks of consistent use — 2 to 3 applications per week. Hair growth itself takes longer to observe visibly, typically 6 to 8 weeks of consistent scalp application. Consistency is everything with herbal hair care.
🧪Ingredients
Chebe is a botanical powder derived from the seeds of the Croton zambesicus plant, used for generations by women in Chad to retain hair length and prevent breakage. It works by coating the hair strand and sealing in moisture. It does not grow hair directly — it prevents the breakage that stops hair from reaching its natural length. It is one of the most effective length retention ingredients known in traditional African hair care.
Qasil is a powder derived from the leaves of the Gob Dhir tree, traditionally used in Somalia for hair and skin cleansing. It balances the scalp, helps regulate oil production, and provides a gentle clarifying effect without stripping natural moisture. Combined with chebe, it addresses both scalp health and strand protection.
Batana oil is extracted from the nuts of the American palm tree, traditionally used by the Miskito people of Honduras. It is rich in oleic acid, tocotrienols, and beta-carotene. It is known for restoring damaged hair, improving elasticity, and adding deep shine. It has a naturally warm earthy scent.
Amla (Indian Gooseberry) is one of the most researched botanicals in traditional Ayurvedic hair care. It is rich in Vitamin C and tannins and has been used for centuries to strengthen hair, reduce premature thinning, and improve scalp circulation. It is one of the reasons our Rosemary Oil goes beyond what a simple rosemary carrier oil can do.
